Mark testifies of two remarkable displays of God’s power from a situation within a situation that stem from an active faith that releases God’s power. Both situations compliment and compare to each other that give a clear setting of what active faith looks like which activates God’s power and that from two deathly people on different sides of the equation. This picture inevitably shows the power of God over a people who are dead apart from Him, that only He can make alive and bring about salvation.
