Palm Sunday is the day we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus as rightful King of kings and Lord of lords. Yet, according to this event recorded in all four Gospels, this event showed the false devotion people had towards Jesus and a superficial devotion that only went as far as singing a worship song with crowds of people gathered around as Jesus comes into Jerusalem on a donkey. Palm Sunday is not much of a celebration but rather a warning for all believers to assure that their devotion to the King of kings and Lord of lords is not one of shallow worship, but rather of true devotion to the King of Lord of the universe. ​
