Some people believed this to be the same miracle Jesus performed with the 5,000 and just worded slightly different. But there were several factors they prove it was a new miracle with different people. Nevertheless, this miracle was designed by God with purpose and precision just as Jesus had been doing since the Syrophoenician woman. From the salvation explained through His encounter with the Gentile woman in need of Jesus to deliver her daughter from demonic possession that Jesus used to describe true salvation. To the purpose of salvation not just to forgive sins, but to reconcile people back into a relationship with God as seen and exampled through the deaf and mute man. To this miracle that is very similar to the miracle of the feeding of the 5,000. Jesus again feeds a mass of people in which we can learn the final lesson done through the Gentiles that exemplifies the need to be complete in Christ as God purposed us to be. ​
