Prayer must not be something we use only as a life raft or spare tire when the ship is going down or the tire has a flat. The apostle Paul gives a clear command considering prayer— we must always pray; on every occasion and in every season in the Spirit that we may stay alert with all perseverance or the ability to remain patient while under trials or the storms of life as well as the rainbows that led to the pot of gold, interceding, or standing in the gap for all of God’s people.
