Throughout history we have seen his destruction in many people’s lives from Adam and Eve in the fall and destruction of humanity, to Cain in the killing of his brother Abel, Pharoah and his heart hardened by pride that led to his fall and destruction by drowning, to King Saul and the losing of the Spirit of God due to His refusal to do it God’s way and falling to witchcraft and being killed by God, to some people of God such as Samson and the losing of his eyes and destruction with the enemies he lived to kill, and to Judas who would betray Jesus through the pride in his heart and rather than experience a sorrow that leads to repentance and salvation of life, he chose to kill himself by hanging. They all had one thing in common, pride came before the fall and destruction followed.
