God charges us with the leaving of our first love; a love that had grown cold and passionless without any depth. Due to the leaving of our first love, we find ourselves with the inability to love God truly and to love ourselves and others from the lack of allowing ourselves to be loved by God and reciprocate His love to love Him in return, love ourselves, and truly love others with an agape or God like love. Therefore, we need to return to our first love, which is God the One who loved us first in sending His one and only Son to die for us in love to save us.
