It is still Tuesday of Passion week and Jesus taught more on Tuesday than any other day before His crucifixion. We learn of the What and Who of the Authority of Jesus (11:27-33). We learned of the God of the Vineyard whose Son became the Cornerstone and foundation of salvation history and the plan of salvation which is able to save all who would fall upon Jesus for eternal salvation or be crushed by Jesus the Cornerstone in eternal judgment (12:1-12). Mark, inspired by the Holy Spirit and based on the testimony of Peter the one in whom Mark’s gospel is reflected by, pens an urgent gospel that tells of the actions that speak louder than words of the life and teachings of Jesus, shown and proven to be the Son of God and Messiah, the Savior of the world. Mark continues with the encounters of the religious people and Jesus in teaching vital lessons that if meditated upon, permeates the mind, heart, and soul of our beings and perspectives of the Lord and the Kingdom of God in which all Christians are citizens of as we are called in that citizenship to live in the dual-citizenship of heaven through our citizenship on earth. ​
