Marks gospel is to show that Jesus was in fact the Son of God and prophesied Messiah who would suffer and serve to save and rescue humankind or all who would put their faith in the Lord. We have been seeing Jesus’s actions speaking louder than His words to prove exactly who He is to His disciples and the world at large. Last week we left off with seeing how Jesus would have us come correct to Him to be both delivered and saved by His grace in which we can never earn, through faith in His ability to deliver and save all who would come correct in faith and humility showing a beautiful salvation that has no respect of persons. Mark continues his account of Jesus in this next section that describes His intentions with humankind and taking mankind’s unfit for relationship status to a fit for relationship status and that first with God then with people. ​
