Jesus’s actions that have spoken louder than words have now brought him before a preliminary trial hearing before the Sanhedrin who were made up of 71 of Israel’s religious leaders. The Sanhedrin encompassed chief priest, the elders, and teachers of the law. They were a ruling body who were assigned to uphold justice among the people, but instead, showed great injustice in the trial of Jesus.
